Remembering Alex Farese
Image On April 21, 2008, North Andover High School lost Alex Farese, a well-known and beloved member of the class of 2008.  Alex died as aresult of cardiac arrest caused by a previously undetected congenital abnormality.  He left behind a stunned community that will be mourning his absence for years to come.  In the days and weeks following his death it has become apparent what a huge positive impact Alex made on others in his much too short life.  The Wall sadly dedicates this page and this issue to Alex by remembering him through photos and the memories of friends.  His spirit will always be with us. North Andover High School Removed From Warning Status

Contact: Dr. Carla Scuzzarella, Principal
North Andover High School, North Andover, Ma. 01845

NAHS Principal, Carla Scuzzarella, received word early Friday, October 19th that the New England Association of Schools and Colleges has removed North Andover High School from warning status.

The NEASC's Commission on Public Secondary Schools reviewed the school's status at its meeting on September 30 - October 1, 2007.   Following a review of the submitted material, the Commission voted to continue the school's accrediation and to remove NAHS from warning. The Commission was pleased to learn of the additional staff, implementation of a pilot schedule, and the successful passage of an override by the Town.

We are pleasantly surprised with this news, as our last communication from the NEASC in early September indicated the Commission would take no action until after our Accreditation visit this month.”

North Andover High School will welcome the NEASC visiting team on Sunday, October 21, 2007 for the decennial visit.
